Mozhi’s aim is to provide our guests with the ultimate safari experience in the thrilling and awe inspiring Busanga Plains and Kafue National Park. Experience the Kafue by boat, canoe, walking safaris, game drives and boat cruises. We’ve suited our activities so you can truly get to know this beautiful area.
Peak Season
1st July

15th November
The period the bush has dried out and thirsty animals head to rivers and waterholes, which makes these the best months for wildlife viewing. The Busanga Plains are off-limits in the Wet season when they are flooded. Animals are easy to find at water sources

ACTIVITIES

WALKING
SAFARIS
For our more adventurous guests, we offer morning guided walking safaris – an intimate experience that tops into your sense of sight, sound and smell to truly connect with the area. Get close to animals, birds and learn more about the fauna & flora which are often on a game drive.
GAME
DRIVES
Enjoy morning or evening game drives in our open vehicles with our experienced guides. The sundowner drive (evening drive) turns into a night drive where you get the chance to see the nocturnal animals.

BOAT SAFARIS
Enjoy a relaxing cruise down the Kafue River, you'll see animals visiting the river to drink, hippos and crocodiles wallowing in the water, birds and guests can fish.
FISHING
If you have your own fishing gear, you can fish on the river’s edge or take the boat with a guide down the Kafue or into the channels. Note that this is strictly fish and release activity.
